Steel Fighters is a robot-building progression game on Roblox. You assemble a fighter from parts, send it through Arena floors and bosses, collect Junkyard resources, improve the build, and eventually use Rebirth to extend the long-term loop. This hub is the shortest route from a new account to the specialized guides without asking you to memorize every system at once.

The official experience description confirms more than 100 robots’ parts, endless floors, powerful bosses, a dangerous Junkyard, upgrades, Rebirth, player challenges, and social rewards. Update 1 also confirms Trials, an Index, a Spin Wheel, Codes, Titan Bosses, upgrades, and more robots. Exact drop rates, full robot stats, and many mode rules are not public, so the guides separate actions you can take now from values that must be read in the current client.

The core loop in player order

Start with the official social rewards because they can give a new account a robot or parts without spending resources. Next, inspect your available parts and use the build interface to fill every required slot. Recent recorded gameplay shows six positions—Head, Torso, Left Arm, Right Arm, Left Leg, and Right Leg—but the current client is the final authority for labels and requirements.

Use that robot to learn the Arena. A floor run tells you whether the build can survive, clear at a useful pace, and reach the next reward without constant intervention. If progress stalls, do not repeatedly send an unchanged robot into the same wall. Return to the Junkyard for Scrap, upgrade the fighter you actually use, compare new parts, and then test the same floor again.

Cash and Scrap serve different decisions. Cash is part of the broader economy and is boosted by playing with friends; Scrap is explicitly associated with the dangerous Junkyard and robot improvement. Read the current button before spending because update-driven systems can change costs or add currencies. The Cash and Scrap guide gives each resource a job instead of treating every balance as interchangeable.

Rebirth is the longer reset loop. It can be valuable when its next permanent benefit improves future earning or raises a limit enough to justify rebuilding the temporary economy. Never confirm it from a guide’s remembered numbers. Read the current Rebirth panel, record what resets and what stays, spend anything that would otherwise vanish when sensible, and leave yourself a rebuild plan.

A reliable first-session checklist

  1. Confirm the experience title, creator, and place ID from the official links page.
  2. Join the official community, Like and Favorite the experience if you want the advertised rewards, then rejoin if the claim panel does not refresh.
  3. Inspect the robot-building interface and fill every required slot with the best parts you currently understand.
  4. Choose one main fighter. Avoid spreading scarce upgrades across many untested builds.
  5. Enter the Arena and note the first floor or boss where progress becomes unreliable.
  6. Visit the Junkyard, collect and deliver junk, and turn the resulting Scrap into a measurable improvement.
  7. Return to the same Arena wall and compare survival, clear time, and recovery.
  8. Open Rewards or Titles and equip a benefit that matches the activity you are doing.
  9. Check the Rebirth panel only after you understand the current run’s bottleneck and the listed reset.

Where to go when progress stalls

Your robot is incomplete

Use the Robot Parts Guide to identify slot coverage and avoid consuming the only usable copy of a part before testing it.

You cannot compare builds

Use Robot Builds to hold the test floor, upgrades, and title constant while changing one part decision.

Resources are empty

Follow Junkyard for the collect-and-deliver loop, then use Upgrades to spend with a goal.

Arena progress stopped

Read the Arena Guide for retreat, recovery, floor milestones, and a repeatable wall-test routine.

You need a lasting target

Use the Title Progression Guide to pair ordinary play with milestones that survive beyond one short farming session.

A new feature is unclear

Check Updates for what the developer actually announced, then read the live interface before trusting a third-party number.

Decisions that save the most time

Concentrate early resources. One dependable fighter gives you a stable Arena and Junkyard test; several half-upgraded robots make it difficult to identify why the next attempt improved. Keep spare parts until you understand whether Fusion, Index completion, or another system consumes them.

Change one variable at a time. If you replace all six parts, buy upgrades, and switch Titles before retrying a floor, the result cannot teach you which investment mattered. A simple test record—robot, six parts, upgrades, equipped Title, floor, result—turns each failure into a useful choice.

Match the equipped Title to the task. Community-corroborated records show Cash, Scrap, Luck, Arena Damage, and Walk Speed benefits. The Titles List records the current 22-item table and its check date. Because the current Rewards UI is the final authority, reread the row before committing to a long grind.

Common new-player mistakes

  • Spending until both Cash and Scrap are empty without keeping a route back to income.
  • Pulling for more parts when the existing main robot simply needs a documented upgrade.
  • Treating a high-looking part as automatically better without checking the full build result.
  • Repeating a lost Arena floor without changing strength, recovery, or the selected fighter.
  • Confirming Rebirth without reading the reset and keep lists in the current panel.
  • Using a code, Discord invite, or Roblox login page from an unrelated game.
  • Assuming a recently added system has the same rules shown in a launch-week video.

Current evidence boundary

Identity, creator, player capacity, the official core loop, social rewards, and Update 1’s named features are supported by Roblox-owned surfaces. The six-part build interface, recovery controls, and many progression details are community-reported from dated gameplay and should be checked against the current client. Drop odds, the complete robot roster, exact stat curves, the full boss schedule, and detailed Trials/PvP rewards remain update-sensitive.

Use Updates before returning after a patch, and use Official Links whenever a source asks you to sign in or join a community. No guide should require a Roblox cookie, account password, or off-platform executable.
